The Roles - Medical Sales Specialist / Medical Account Manager, Medical Imaging Systems

Following expansion within their medical imaging systems sales business unit, this market leading organisation now seek to recruit two commercially astute Medical Sales Specialists / Medical Account Managers. Working from home, the successful applicants will be responsible for managing the medical imaging systems sales portfolio and established accounts throughout the North East and North West regions.

These are in the main account management posts, although you will also be responsible for 'up-selling' and identifying new business opportunities, ultimately looking to exceed area sales and gross profit targets agreed within their X-ray, CT and MRI medical imaging markets. You will look to extend the customer base, participate in relevant exhibitions and local events, assist in training team members, analyse competitor activity, organise territory product presentations and take responsibility for producing proposals and sales agreements, as well as all the associated administrative duties. These roles are home based and will involve extensive travel throughout the North East or North West regions.

Your Background - Medical Sales Specialist / Medical Account Manager, Medical Imaging Systems

To succeed in these varied and challenging roles, you must be able to demonstrate a successful background gained within a medical sales hospital environment, selling capital equipment, medical devices or medical consumables in the NHS. Full medical imaging product sales training will be provided so applications are welcome from ambitious medical sales professionals keen to break into the medical imaging sector from other parts of the healthcare sales sector.You will need to be well organised, an excellent relationship builder and account manager, with a good attention for detail, with the ability to 'up-sell' and to work autonomously in a field based capacity.
